This may actually be where the Virtuoso Polish and Cleaner stand out from other products. I think the niche that Virtuoso products fills would be in use with instruments that have not been properly cared for and have years of built up residue that require cleaning and polishin g. Duck's Ax Wax, Martin Guitar Polish) for use on a properly cared for instrument. Although results are very good, I am not convinced that these products are better than other, high quality, less expensive, polishes and cleaners (ie. This is a very good system, however it is pricey when compared to other brands. Advertised as a cleaning/polishing compound developed for use on vintage instruments, the polish and cleaner both are easily applied and buffed out thereafter.
Virtuoso Guitar Polish/Cleaner are excellent products that can be safely used on both acoustic and electric guitars. An Unnecessary Expense for a Well-Cared for Instrument.
